Planning guide

Plan your nail design before you make it.

Plan your manicure before an appointment or a press-on project. Choose shapes, design each finger, add notes and export a design sheet.

Start designing

1. Pick one starting idea

Choose a style or editable template. One clear idea makes colour and shape variations easier to compare.

2. Plan each finger independently

All is a separate general reference, not a paint-all button. A blank finger stays uncreated until edited. Formal saves create a default All if missing, without filling any fingers.

3. Choose shape, colour and pattern

Set the length before small details. A HEX colour keeps digital choices consistent, but does not identify a polish brand or guarantee its real-world appearance.

4. Add drawings, images and charms

Draw a mark or place and resize charms. The eraser affects brush strokes only. Import images you have permission to use; they stay in this browser.

5. Record notes and measurements

Use Preview to add instructions such as pearl placement or matte finish. For created fingers, save width and length together in Shape. These are references, not automatic fitting.

6. Export and check your reference

Export a transparent PNG for one nail or a sheet with created nails, measurements and notes. All starts off if fingers exist, on otherwise. Check the set and keep a downloaded copy.

Can I download a transparent PNG?

Yes. Download individual transparent PNGs at 2048 pixels on the long edge, or a nail sheet with optional PNG attachments. PNGs are not calibrated for actual-size printing.

Where are my designs saved?

Drafts and images stay in this browser on this device. They are not synced to the cloud. Clearing site data can remove them; download important artwork.
